A 26-story luxury condominium called Seaglass is coming to Bonita Bay with a price tag expected to average $1.5 million a unit. Naples-based Ronto Group is building the first high-rise since the real estate boom ended 8 years ago. Based on sales in the high-rise market for the last two seasons, the Ronto Group believes the market is ready for new construction. Ronto owns the last 2 high-rise sites in Bonita Bay.
Reservations for the 126-unit building will begin this fall, and construction is expected to start a year and a half following that. The well-regarded architecture firm of Santiesteban & Associates, is designing the new tower. You can expect a beautiful, luxurious open floor plan that today’s home buyers is looking for. Residences will range from 2,850-3,500 SF with 3 BR or 3 BR+Den with a den that can be used as a 4th bedroom; 3 ½ BA; and penthouse residences will range from 4,300-4,500 SF. Private enclosed 2 car garages will be offered. The residences will include private elevator lobbies, high ceilings, a large island in the kitchen, premium finishes, and outdoor terraces overlooking Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Bay’s golf courses, and mangrove preserves.
Building amenities will include a theater, card and social rooms, a fully equipped fitness room with sauna, massage room, steam room and a resort-style pool and deck with a cabana that includes a bar and grill. There will also be a rooftop deck for entertaining and enjoying the Gulf views and sunsets. The amenities of the Bonita Bay Club will be available to new residents as well, including 5 golf courses, a Clubhouse, fitness center, formal and casual dining, hiking trails, a canoeing and kayaking lodge, and a private beach club. Ronto will build the 126-unit high-rise on a long-vacant Bonita Bay parcel, which sold along with another parcel for $21.5 million. They purchased the property in late November located next to Esperia South, a 27-story tower.
