Construction is now underway at Venetian Pointe, a new gated community planned for South Fort Myers. Eventually the site will offer a total of 80 single-family homes and another 100 attached villas with a variety of floor plans.
Options will range from one to two-stories, many of which will include lake or preserve views. With Italian-inspired design elements, the homes are customizable. Varying from 1,600 to upwards of 2,700 square feet, the homes are set to offer up to four-bedrooms and up to 3.5-baths, plus a two car garage. The floor plans also call for a study or bonus room, giving prospective homeowners the lifestyle they need and want.
Constructed by Zuckerman Homes, the residences will include high ceilings, lush landscaping and energy saving design features. As well, you can expect to find granite countertops in the open kitchens, with some homes additionally offering a breakfast counter and pantry.
At around 50-acres, the Venetian Pointe community is being marketed towards families, retirees and empty nesters, with homes priced in the mid to upper $200,000s. About a third of the land in the development is saved for lakes and nature preserves, with an emphasis on building homes that compliment the scenic surroundings. With a portico courtyard-style front entrance, another big selling feature of the homes is the outside space, with room for an optional summer kitchen.
Located at Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive, the development is only a few miles away from Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island, plus exists close to dozens of golf courses, high-end shops and restaurants, plus numerous entertainment options. As well, Lakes Regional Park is not far away from the community either, giving residents a full range of recreational opportunities. As well, homeowners are sure to enjoy access to the Venetian Club with its fitness room, plus the community’s resort-style swimming pool.
