There are now several new reasons to celebrate being a member of Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club. Construction crews just finished the extensive redesign and renovation of the club, updating the property’s long list of available amenities.
Perhaps most noteworthy, the newly completed project included adding on a new two-story fitness center. The now 14,000 square foot center is a welcome addition to the site, where fitness and recreation play a valuable part in the lives of residents and members.
In addition, plans called for the construction of a tennis rest and storage center. The property already offered eight lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, a Tennis Shop and onsite professionals to help members with the game through lessons, clinics and more.
Other updates were made to the clubhouse. Crews renovated the main lobby, Pro Shop, kitchen and bar, plus the ballroom and administration area. In addition, the Grille Room and ballroom were expanded in size and an outdoor dining terrace and outdoor covered dining area were added on.
Heritage Palms is a member-owned community of around 1,600 residents. Built up between the late 1990s and mid 2000s, the gated community offers two 18-hole golf courses, a nearly 40-acre freshwater lake and heated swimming pools.
In addition, the large clubhouse provides room for bocce courts, a card room, a library and space for casual and more formal dining. There are also various community activities, from clubs and study groups to planned excursions outside the boundaries of the 800-acre, amenity-rich community.
As for the real estate options, Heritage Palms includes single-family homes, twin villas, two-story verandas and terrace condominiums, giving prospective residents a wealth of options when it comes to living within the desirable community of Heritage Palms. You’ll find Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers, just off Six Mile Cypress, between Daniels Parkway and Colonial Boulevard.
