Residents of Babcock Ranch are celebrating yet another major addition to the fast-growing Southwest Florida community. The nation’s first solar-powered town now has its own golf course.

The 18-hole Babcock National golf course recently opened within Babcock National Golf & Country Club. Reportedly designed for those of all golfing abilities, the par 72, Gordon Lewis-designed course is just one of the latest amenities that’s come to the Lennar lifestyle community.

Set on Lake Babcock, the semi-private golf course complements the community’s resort-style swimming pool and spa, its clubhouse, and its golf pro shop. The amenities center at Babcock National also extends to bocce ball and pickleball courts, a tennis center, dining options and a sports club with exercise rooms, a fitness center, treatment rooms and saunas.

Housing options at Babcock National, meanwhile, range from multi-family designs to single-family homes. This gives new and prospective residents their choice of home designs, including everything from condos and coach homes to executive homes and estate homes.

Typically ranging from around 1,100 to 3,400 square feet of living space, Babcock National offers your choice of 18 different home designs from Lennar. Eventually, though, plans call for the inclusion of more than 19,000 homes and millions of square feet of commercial space in Babcock Ranch.

Its expected 50,000 residents will someday call Babcock Ranch home. Babcock National is already one of a half-dozen neighborhoods in the greater community. The innovative town of Babcock Ranch also offers a school, dining options, retailers and nature trails.
