Progress is quickly moving ahead at one of Estero’s newest communities, as crews begin construction of the amenities center within The Place at Corkscrew. Plans call for a host of amenities when the center is finished, from a private restaurant and wine/martini bar to an ice cream shop and café.
The amenities center also plans to house a two-story fitness building as well as a resort-style swimming pool, kids splash pad and sand beach, plus several fire pit areas. Other extras of the new site include room for basketball, bocce ball and pickleball. As well, Har-Tru tennis courts will also join the property, along with a tennis pro shop, and there will be room for beach volleyball.
Additional features of the new community call for thing like shuffleboard, a kids club, a playground and a dog park. As of now, it appears the new amenities center will be officially open to residents sometime in fall of next year.
This new, gated community includes residences by Lennar Homes and Pulte Homes, with homes priced starting in the high $200,000s. Prospective homebuyers should expect to find a variety of Southern plantation-style, single-family homes in one- and two-story designs. The homes range in size from approximately 1,600 square feet to around 3,900 square feet of living space. When finished, more than 1,300 homes are expected to grace the community.
The Place At Corkscrew sits within one of the most exciting and fastest growing corridors; with easy access to major roadways as well as popular sites including area shopping malls and Germain Arena. Found just off Corkscrew Road, The Place at Corkscrew is about two miles to the east of Alico Road and I-75 in Estero. This puts residents within easy reach of area golf courses, parks and local entertainment offerings in the region.
