Construction Underway at Windsong

windsong fort myers Construction is well underway at Windsong, where crews are busy building a number of new paired villas slated for Fort Myers. A project of Neal Communities, the new development promises around 100 paired villa homes when complete, all constructed in a British West Indies-style. Priced in the $300,000s, the paired villas come in two different designs, one of which includes around 1,600 square feet of living space. The other available floor plan in Windsong provides for around 1,800 square feet of space. The 24-acre development will also include space for a swimming pool and spa at its rec center, plus room for outdoor grilling and a dog park. Found in the Daniels Corridor, the development sits just west of I-75, close to the Six Mile Cypress Parkway. The location puts new residents within easy access of area attractions, as well as nearby restaurants and shops. In addition, the development is just a short distance from the conservation area of Six Mile Cypress Slough. Complimented by a more than one-mile long, elevated boardwalk, the site also features thousands of acres of natural wetland, offering up the experience of wildlife viewing and the viewing of native plants. Not to be outdone, more nature preserves, a dog park, a playground and boat ramps exist within Manatee Park, also located a short distance from the new homes of Windsong. This is in addition to the convenience of several nearby golf courses for added recreation, plus access to JetBlue Park and Southwest Florida International Airport. Neal Communities is also now the force behind completion of the gated Verandah community. Other new development tied to the company includes Marquesa Isles in Naples and the carriage homes of Richmond Park, also in Naples. The company also has several other communities to its name in Southwest Florida.
