Crescent B Commons Debuts at Babcock Ranch in September

The new Crescent B Commons retail development makes its debut at Babcock Ranch this September. Earmarked as the newest retail destination in Babcock Ranch, Crescent B Commons consists of a number of new retailers, anchored by a Publix Super Market.

Crescent B Commons fills the need of Babcock Ranch residents when it comes to supplying a nearby grocery store, pharmacy and other retailers. New businesses moving into the area include a gourmet pizza shop and a Mexican restaurant.

Each of the restaurants of Crescent B Commons will have access to shaded outdoor seating. Other businesses making a home in the development include a nail salon, a full-service vet and animal surgery center, a pet grooming businesses and a shipping business.

Later this fall, the center plans to provide a vision center, plus possibly a new dental center and a tutoring service business. Eventually, five buildings will make up the large Crescent B Commons development.

You’ll find Crescent B Commons at the intersection of Cypress Parkway and Babcock Ranch Road, which is also the new, southern entrance to Babcock Ranch. It’s expected that this will be the main entrance to Babcock Ranch in the future, as the roadway also links up homeowners to Founder’s Square and the Babcock Neighborhood School.

The idea is to bring new tenants and retailers in that can help serve the daily needs of area residents. Until now, the closest shopping center with a grocery store was about six miles away from the homes of Babcock Ranch.

Construction crews first broke ground for Crescent B Commons in 2015. It’s just the latest addition to Babcock Ranch; noted as the nation’s very first solar-powered town. The massive development also has a number of new neighborhoods under construction. The very first residents moved into Babcock Ranch in early 2018
