The world’s first solar powered town moves one step closer to completion as Pulte makes plans to build its first spec homes at Babcock Ranch. It’s the beginning of a major undertaking for the homebuilder, with plans of eventually constructing hundreds of homes there.
It won’t be long before some of the first residents of Lake Timber will be able to enjoy a new neighborhood center. The Lake House neighborhood center is almost complete, aimed at giving residents a sort of central gathering place while also helping to welcome visitors to the exciting new solar powered town of Babcock Ranch.
Castle Harbour Homes just joined the list of premiere homebuilders constructing at Lake Timber in Babcock Ranch. It’s expected the company will begin constructing its first model home in June and a second in July, with both completed in early 2018.
Prospective homebuyers in Babcock Ranch now have a model home to view, as the first furnished model just opened in the new, sustainable town. Located in the town’s very first neighborhood, Lake Timber, the home by Stock Development is the first of five lakefront model homes planned by Stock at Babcock Ranch.
Construction is now underway for the first neighborhood being developed at Babcock Ranch, a massive solar-powered town just east of Fort Myers. Part of the much larger, 18,000-acre development, Lake Timber offers the luxury of plenty of lakefront green space, along with a fishing dock, dog park and observation deck.
